Commis – Sandwich & Bakery Section
Department: Bakery & Pastry
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in preparing hot and cold sandwiches in a restaurant or café.
Knowledge of different breads, cheeses, sauces, and sandwich ingredients.
Skilled in food preparation and mise en place techniques.
Accuracy, speed, and attention to hygiene and presentation standards.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Punctual and flexible with shift schedules.
Previous experience in Bakery & Pastry is a must.
Responsibilities:
Prepare hot and cold sandwiches according to approved recipes.
Handle daily mise en place and coordinate stock needs with the Head Chef.
Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Assist in producing light bakery or pastry items when required.
Keep the preparation area clean, organized, and sanitized after each shift.
