1. Supervision and Coordination
Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
Assign daily room and task lists to room attendants and follow up on completion.
Ensure all rooms meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards before releasing them to Front Office.
Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments regarding room status, repairs, and special requests.
2. Training and Development
Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and hotel policies.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or retraining when necessary.
Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
3. Quality Control and Guest Satisfaction
Conduct daily room and floor inspections.
Handle guest complaints or special requests efficiently and professionally.
Ensure all lost and found items are properly logged and stored according to hotel policy.
4. Inventory and Supplies
Check stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Request and control inventory to prevent shortages or wastage.
Ensure housekeeping trolleys and pantries are well stocked and organized.
5. Safety and Hygiene
Ensure staff follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Support the implementation of hygiene and sanitation standards across the department.
