Chef De Partie

  • Prepares the appropriate amount of mise en place for the daily activities.
  • Prepares and cooks daily requirements of food items for Kitchen
  • Is responsible for the production, preparation and presentation of all food items to ensure highest quality at all times
  • Prepares Food items according to standard recipes
  • Ensures that enough food is prepared to serve all guests.
  • Stores all foods & sauces according to established policy and procedures.
  • Keep the section of kitchen in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Adopts the clear as you go method of working.
  • Complies with Company Health and Safety policy.
  • Complies with the HACCP standards of the Company.
  • Ensures that equipment, utensils, kitchen areas and fridges are clean & maintained by physical inspection.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  • Conducts under the guidance of the sous chef employee orientation, coaching and suspension if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
  • Informs the sous chef on a daily basis of all relevant information in operational and personal matters.
  • Assists the sous chef in the completion of market lists in accordance with Company quality and quantity standard. Checks perishable food items received for quantity and quality standards.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
