About the Role:

Opal Hotel – Amman is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Banqueting Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic events team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and organizing all banqueting sales activities, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and delivering exceptional service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Coordination:

  • Assist the banqueting sales team with administrative and technical tasks.

  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts for prospective clients.

Event Coordination:

  • Work closely with operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth execution of events.

  • Follow up with clients during the planning process to ensure all needs are met.

Proposal & Contract Management:

  • Create tailored quotations based on client requirements.

  • Draft and document all sales contracts with accuracy and clarity.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.

  • Handle inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

  • Gather client feedback post-event to support continuous improvement.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with various hotel departments (sales, operations, kitchen) to deliver successful events.

  • Ensure all teams are aligned on event requirements and expectations.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage client files and documentation.

  • Prepare reports related to banqueting sales and event statistics.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track sales progress and contribute to achieving sales targets.

  • Submit regular performance updates to the Banqueting Sales Manager.

Market Research & Opportunities:

  • Monitor trends in the banqueting and events market.

  • Identify new business opportunities to grow revenue.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.

  • Previous experience in sales or administrative coordination (preferably in events or hospitality).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
