Role: Commis Chef (Entry-Level Position)
As a Commis Chef at Chao, you’ll support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality Chinese stir-fry dishes, noodles, and appetizers. You'll learn fast, move fast, and grow fast — this is the ideal role for someone who’s passionate about Asian cuisine and eager to develop their skills in a high-energy environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in prepping ingredients (meat, vegetables, sauces, etc.)
Support the Chef de Partie during service at the wok station
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
Follow hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
Learn and grow with the team
Requirements:
0–2 years of kitchen experience (fresh graduates welcome!)
Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn
Passion for food, especially Asian cuisine
Ability to work in a fast-paced, small kitchen setup
Positive attitude and team spirit
