The culinary arts program provides students with occupational standard, entry-level skills up to international best practices in culinary arts, and improves the understanding of culinary fundamentals with hands-on training using traditional and state-of-the-art techniques and equipment, with an emphasis on industry-standard safety and sanitation practices.
The 9-month training program includes theoretical and practical classes in food production, getting to know the many different cooking methods, knowledge of ingredients, variations of cuisines and dietary needs, as well as culinary trends. The course will also cover safe food handling, HACCP and an introduction to entrepreneurship.
